2018 Phil Polglase Recently inducted member, Phil Polglase attended the University of Melbourne where he studied plants, soils and specialised in Mountain Ash Forests - the tallest flowering plant in the world. 

The University of Florida provided further experience in soil and plant nutrients. Then is was back to Melbourne for a position at CSIRO looking at climate change and its link with carbon. This was in the early days of climate change study and discovery.

Canberra CSIRO followed where Phil's work concentrated on Natural Resource Management.

In joining Rotary Phil has found ways to participate in community service, to socialize and to have fun.
