Projects

Wow ... do we do projects, so many projects in fact that all our members are getting tired of having so much fun. Our projects are very varied, covering Local, National & International communities, with Community Service being our passion. Did you know we cook a pretty mean BBQ? We also care about the environment with recycling promoted when & where possible.

Internationally we really look after the people in Ambon (Indonesia), as they looked after Australian Soldiers when they were POW. (Click Here for the Travel Blog).

We like to assist the Youth, awarding educational scholarships to aspiring kids, who are a little short on the cash required. Some kids attend the National Youth Science Forum in Canberra, opening their eyes to a world of opportunities in the STEM fields.  We also fund one young person each year to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Award which is a 7 day camp that assists 18-25 year olds to develop their leadership potential.

Health is another area of focus for the Club.  We have recently donated $2,500 to support the PNG Midwives Leadership Buddy Program and last year the $10,000 profit from our Christmas Hamper sales was donated to the Ballarat and District Suicide Awareness Network Inc for the facilitation of community Safe Talk workshops.

$10,000 donation presentation to Ballarat Suicide Prevention Network Inc.
