On Wednesday 21st October 2026, Dr David Douglas received a Paul Harris Fellow recognition from Immediate Past President Clare Bennett in acknowledgment of his outstanding contribution to The Rotary Foundation.

The Rotary Foundation is Rotary International’s charity, dedicated to improving lives and creating lasting change around the world. Through grants and volunteer service, it supports projects that promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water and sanitation, support education, grow local economies, and protect the environment. The Foundation is best known for its leading role in the global effort to eradicate polio through the PolioPlus program.
