On Wednesday 2 August  2023, our guest speaker was Emily Murphy, Volunteer Coordinator from Women and Mentoring - WAM Limited.

WAM is a not for profit organisation that offers a unique, early intervention program that supports women and non-binary people in contact with the legal system by matching them individually with a supportive mentor.

Previously operating in metro areas only in 2022 WAM received funding to start the program here in Ballarat.
