President Andrew Harman had the pleasure of inducting the first new member into our club for the 2024-2025 year on 21st August, 2024.

Susan Harley has joined us with the vocational classification of Primary Teacher - Principal. She was born in Adelaide and after studying home economics and textiles at university in Adelaide she began her secondary teaching career in Murrayville.  After roles in various country towns she moved to a middle years consultant role in the Wimmera and at Charlton.

After undertaking a Masters of Education, Susan became a primary teacher, moving to become a principal, then a career change saw her working for 5 years in public health administration in the East Wimmera Health Service.

Since moving to Ballarat, Susan has undertaken significant CRT in many schools and has a strong background of voluntary work with sporting clubs, show judging, tutoring of adult migrants and the Blood Bank.
