Phoenix P-12 Mock Interviews

Members of the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast conducted exit (mock job) interviews with Year 12 students from Phoenix P-12 Community College from 7th to 9th September 2026.

Under the guidance of Learning Specialist and Deputy Principal Kiya Eberle from Phoenix P-12 Community College, year 12 VET students were interviewed by Rotarians for jobs as part of their work related skills studies. Students also had to present their portfolio to panel members and all students are provided with written feedback.

The interviews, conducted at the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership, are designed to assist the students with work place readiness and give them confidence to engage in job interviews. Rotarians who took part were impressed by the way the students prepared their portfolios and presented themselves during the interviews.
