On Wed 21st May '25, soon after our breakfast meeting, we attended the Volunteer Expo 2025 (organised by Ballarat Foundation) held in St Patrick’s Cathedral Hall (Opposite Gee Cees) from 11am to 3pm.

Many thanks to the 12 members who volunteered their time to recruit members for our amazing Rotary Club. We had a professional looking stand, with a large TV screen displaying all the activities we get up to locally, nationally & internationally.

Those volunteers who we spoke to were informed that; 1. We are the largest Rotary Club in Ballarat with over 60 members. 2. We are the equal largest in District 9780. 3. We welcome females and have a 50/50 male/female membership split. 4. We give back to our local community – Cancer Support Centre, Yuille Park Primary School scholarships. 5. We volunteer a lot but meet socially for fun a lot too. 6. We meet Wed mornings over breakfast, so you can still get to work by 8:30am. 7. We learn from a lot of interesting breakfast speakers.
