On Sat 12th April 2025, members of ours and the Rotary Club of Kardinia who are travelling for the service project to Ambon (from 22nd April to 2nd May 2025), met at Rob & Jane's house in Ballarat to pack all the goodies which are being donated to the Ambonese people.
Approximately 300kg of goodies were packed into many large suitcases for the trip - we all became quite good a packing efficiently ... Tetris skills came in very handy.
Donations and giveaways are to be made at Laha Memorial, Tawari Soccer Club, School 2 & 4, Oma's House, Caleb House, Pelita Kash Orphanage, Nusinawe Tree Planting, Food Sharing Village, Airlouw Kindergarten & Kabaresky Soccer club.
After packing Ambon T-Shirts were distributed, and we all enjoyed lunch while Alan Murphy gave everyone an update on the latest travel plans, to ensure the trip runs as smoothly as possible.
