On Wednesday 15 November we also had a wonderful presentation from new member Cheryl, aka Chez. 

Chez was born in Hawthorn and as you can see is a die hard Hawks supporter. 

Chez is a very strong and passionate woman, who survived domestic violence in the early 80s, and thrived on her own, with her children, working in health and welfare areas for many years.  

She met her husband Phil at a 10-pin bowling alley, moved in together, blending their two families and lives together, they married in 1992.

They moved to Ballarat in 1997 and are now grandparents to 9 and have one great grand child. 

Chez is past president of Alfredton Rotary Club and joined us on 30 June 2023.  

Chez is still really passionate about health and welness and is a current volunteer at the BRICC Wellness Centre.
